| Visit at Mr.Gucci / Návštěva u pana Gucciho

This was an exhibition in Ciant Gallery, Prague, in spring of 2009.
I also presented it as my final work in school, for which I recieved the rector's prize.
Mr. Gucci is a cybernetic brain, resident in a material body. He loves art, and loves to come to openings and drinking wine. Only a few people know, that he is actually collector of art. With the help of a special interface, you have the possibility to see his collection, constantly being filled with freshest waste of human images and dreams.
The installation consists of the of Mr. Gucci, a talking figurine, which can have a dialog with, and of an HMD, which is there for the visitor to see the collection of Mr.Gucci. Vr environment copies the space of the gallery to some extent, including mr. Gucci, sitting at a table on the same spot as in material reality. The collection looks like a living junkyard, filled constantly with the fres art works.

Pan Gucci je plně kybernetický mozek, sídlící v hmotném těle. Miluje umění, rád chodí na vernisáže a pije víno. Co málokdo ví, že je také sběratelem umění. Pomocí rozhraní virtuální reality máte možnost nahlédnout do jeho sbírky, neustále doplňované o odpad lidských představ a snů. Gucciho sbírka je akášou výtvarného umění, nebo snad spíše jejím výřezem. Surrealismus výtvarné scény bez její skutečné přítomnosti, analýzou bez zbytečného vysvětlování, zrcadlem, které už není určené pro umělce, ale pro všechny. Ale nečekejte, že je to tak velkolepé, jak to zní. Instalace sestává z pana Gucciho, mluvící figuríny, se kterou je možné vést rozhovor. Sbírka má podobu živého smetiště, doplňovaného nejčerstvějšími uměleckými kousky. |
